a few of my favorite pics from the wedding reception of some friends of mine... they surprised us all by eloping so some of heather and will's closest friends and family hosted a reception to celebrate their marriage... it was a very fun night... stayed out a little too late but had a blast... we even got to sing karaoke and for all those that know me well you know i was loving that...(i like to pretend that i can sing on occasion... hahaha!)... anyway, the weather and evening was perfect... the hostesses did an outstanding job decorating and planning and heather's aunts "cooked up" some good food... thanks heather and will for letting me be a part of your fun... hope you like the peek... kim

stoffer boys...

we had to postpone our first scheduled session due to the nasty stomach virus that brelee woke up with... sorry about that but sometimes some things just can't be helped... i would have much rather been taking pictures than doing what i was doing... these guys were precious and very easy to work with... they are anxiously awaiting the arrival of their little sister... can't wait to photograph all three of them... hope you like the peek... kim

oghs homecoming...

october 17th was homecoming at my alma mater, oak grove high... i consider it a great privelege to still be able to be involved with oghs activities... these young ladies and young gentleman represented og well... i thought we had a beautiful court... the night was saddened due to the tragedy that had occurred earlier in the week but the students at og impressed me the way they respectfully paid tribute to their peer that lost his life, along with two other family members, throughout the week at the same time enjoying the planned festivities for a week that they look forward too...

i just wanted to share a pic of our beautiful (and handsome) students on the court... they were very easy to work with and i appreciate that... mrs. hines as well as many others work very hard to make this time of year at og a memorable one... the class of 1988 celebrated their 20th class reunion during the weekend of homecoming... made me realize that in just 5 short years i will be celebrating my 20th reunion... oh my where does the time go... it was good to see people that i hadn't seen in a while... ok, enough blabbing... if you can't tell, i had a great time working the homecoming weekend... hope you like the peek... check out the oghs page of my website in a week or so and check out the others... thanks for listening...kim

tucker & gentry...

i had had my eye on all the patches of wild flowers on the road to my house and was really wanting to use them in some shots but the weather had to cooperate... luckily, on this day it did and i was most excited... i loved the way everything turned out... this was mainly gentry's day... she was turning the big ONE year old but we did let big brother tucker in a few shots... he didn't complain when we told him he was done... he was ready for some silly string!! jessica, let me know which pics you like for card and i will get busy designing them... hope you like... kim

we will have a new local telephone number starting monday... our new number will be 318.428.3442

please make note of this change... the current number will no longer be used...

also, emailing me is another option for getting in touch with me... i tend to return emails a lot faster than phone calls...

i thank you for your patience... please note that my editing times are 2-3 weeks for a regular session... 4-6 weeks for events, parties... and 6-8 weeks for weddings...
times vary according to the time of year... current sessions are taking the full edit time b/c of the busy school, holiday sessions...

did a shoot recently for sarah, anna beth, and mack... we had a good shoot except for the fact that the mosquitoes like to took us away... you may even see a few of our friends in some of the pics... they were the worst i believe that i have ever seen... hope you like the peek... kim

nephews...

my sister waited around too late last year and didn't get a christmas card so this year she got on the ball... the boys really didn't like the whole picture thing but we made it through and got a few good ones... hope you like the peek...kim

country girls...

here are a couple of shots from my session with my friend tracy's four pretty girls... we had a good session ... loved, loved, loved our location... tracy and i went out scouting a couple of weeks before and YEAH we found a good one... thanks to the land owners for allowing us to use their property... i am always looking for neat places... anyway, hope you like the peek... kim

this little guy keeps his mama running... he is so active it was hard to get a shot where one part of his body wasn't blurry because of movement... he is tooo precious and i absolutely love his curls... i requested that mom not cut them until she just has too... she said don't worry!... hope you like the peek...kim

our new addition...

my brother and his wife had their baby yesterday... sheppard michaelson arrived around 7:20pm... he weighed 8.5 and looks to be just perfect... here's my little take on the day... kim

christmas cards...

i know it seems really early to be discussing this but guess what... ITS HERE!!... ok, i am sorry to say but i can not take any new clients for cards... i think i have just about booked all of my '07 card clients but if not if you want '08 cards the session deadline is Nov. 8th... order deadline is Nov. 21st... if i have any cancellations i will post on the blog and open up a new client spot... i'm sorry about this but edit and design time limits me to the number of sessions that i can book... not to mention my obligations to my two schools... GO TIGERS AND GO HAWKS!!!

i would really like to take this opportunity to thank ALL my clients and supporters for their business and compliments during the last year... it has been busy but i love what i do... i also love learning new techniques and designs so be patient with me... i want to give you the best!!! thanks again and i look forward to "shooting" you...

ramsey leigh...

little red... scrunched nose and all... got to love all of her faces... our girls are getting so big... brelee and ramsey were dancing poodles for their first dance recital and lisa and i think they are born dancers and did SUPER!!! yes, we are proud... hope you like the peek lisa... should be finished soon... kim
